Sesame Workshop in India (SWI), organization behind Galli Galli Sim Sim, is pleased to announce the launch of its website – Sesame Street India EXCHANGE. Promising to be more than a website, SWI revealed that the new online platform will be a storehouse of information related to all aspects of parenting. It will offer insight and support to parents through significant advice, blogs and valuable tips to help them do more for their child.
SWI aims to build an online community of parents which help them connect with likeminded people, find relevant information validated by trusted experts. The website will address issues ranging from manners & discipline, child’s nutrition & healthcare, dealing with stress, socio – emotional skills, harnessing creativity and a lot more. It offers complete guidelines on raising children and creating awareness among parents around the holistic development of children.
To assist the website reach its utmost goal of developing useful content for parenting, Twinkle Khanna, celebrity columnist and writer, has associated with Sesame Workshop in India’s online initiative. She will be seen talking about various aspects of child behaviour and upbringing through 13 parenting videos. Routine issues like conflict resolution, importance of listening, fear of the dark, separation anxiety, good touch bad touch will be addressed in the videos. Twinkle Khanna will come forward with the tips for parents, guiding them through the ways to deal with sensitive aspects of childhood nurturing, with supportive examples showcasing playful skits by the characters like Elmo, Hero, and Aanchoo for the better understanding of a kid psyche.
