A unique initiative for the budding Designers: Filme Fashion

Call it a boon for budding designers in Fashion & Lifestyle products, Filme Fashion, a one of its kind initiative to unveil, nurture & grow the immense & highly potential Fashion & Lifestyle sector, has launched their First Concept Store in New Delhi. India’s first Multi Designer Store to give birth to young Designers in Fashion, Jewellery, Accessories & Home Decor etc, Filme Fashion is a step towards bringing young & fresh fashion in the forefront.

“Every year hundreds of students pass out from Fashion & Design institutes, however, only a few are able to make a mark in the industry. It’s time we generate enough credible platforms to give recognition to existing exuberant talent as well as encourage immense new talent which is there in our country and help them create a niche for themselves in the burgeoning luxury lifestyle Industry in India. It is with this intent we have launched Filme Fashion”, says its passionate & confident founders, Jyoti Bhalla & Poonam Kumar.

“The name, Filme Fashion has two meanings, the first, “Fill me with Fashion” and the other “Filmi Fashion” as in India Fashion is synonymous with Bollywood. We Indians love to wear what our favourite bollywood & even Hollywood stars are wearing”, says Jyoti.

The uniqueness of Filme Fashion are the exclusivity it promises to each one of its occupant, no conflict of interest as we are not going to have any two designers with the same concept of designs. “It will give them the confidence to call the space as their own and entertain their clients without any hitch. Also, we will give them all the promotional & marketing support in terms of media exposure, events, online marketing & pop-up exhibitions all over India, etc to help build their brand in media and among the prospective buyers and create a niche for themselves in the burgeoning Indian Fashion & Lifestyle market”, adds Poonam

The First Filme Fashion Concept Store has been opened in South Delhi. We are proud to share that the store is launching over 15 designers from all over India. From Western wear to ethnic and fusion wear, from clutches to jewellery to interesting home decor concepts, each one of them has worked hard to design their first collection for the consumers.
